WEEK 5


                 Its week 5 and time was passing so quickly. As while my group leader has told us in the wassapp group that there are some problems with Publika. The person in-charge do not reply our emails and suddenly someone from Publika told my group leader that Publika has been fully book.


                 I took a Grabcar and planning to go to Publika alone on this weekdays as some of my classmate are having classes. It tooks me around Rm24 for reaching Publika from Subang jaya with Grabcar. At first, I was investigating the surroundings as morning there are less people will hangout in Publika and those rental do looks expensive. There are some housewife will hang around for some fashion shopping and grocery while mostly are workers in the building of Publika. I went straight to the reception and explain about our subject problem while needed a kiosk space for selling our art funding products from the disability. As the reception are very friendly, she gave me some contacts and ask me to contact the event space management team which are Atiqa and Saif, As I print an hard copy of proposal and went to the event management office in Publika. I was told from the office receptionist Sue that the whole team has went out for meeting. I asked for Mr Saif personal contact number and do received a name card from Mis Sue.

             As after I get the name card I contacted Mr Saif and finally get to talk with him. I feels so happy because I was asking one by one around my friends for people that knows the event management people in Publika or someone could help us out. While chatting with Mr Saif, he told me that he was in the meeting and ask me that do not have high expectation on it because it is very limited for this month event while he told me that he is having full time meeting very busy. So he ask me to email him the proposal. I went back to the office ask Mis Sue to put the hard copy proposal to Mr Saif table while also emailed and wassapp Mr Saif about the proposal. Sadly that, he still did not give any reply. So I edited the proposal and straight away went to Amcorp Mall with Grabcar which took me around Rm19 from Publika to Amcorp mall. I have contacted the person in-charge of Amcorp mall before arrive the destination and has make the appointment with the person in-charge of Amcorp mall to meet at 2pm. His name is Encik Azman. I got his number from contacting the receptionist few days ago.

                 I feel so happy because Encik Azman is a very helpful and nice person. The receptionist told me that Encik Azman is the head and he in-charge of the whole building. Its very joyful that getting to talk with the right person. I extra printed another set and printing in Publika its so expensive it tooks me around RM 24 for one set of proposal. As one pieces of colour A4 is RM 2.40 but sadly i lost the receipt. 

As I am changing the proposal name I was thinking that Amcorp Mall will be much better and more people compare with Publika, The Boulevard.



                 Finally I get to meet up with Encik Azman as I straight went to the office next door to search for him in level 3. He called me to wait in the mall reception. I was introducing me to him and explain to him about our project brief. While looking at my hard copy proposal he straight away approve. He said that we need to pay before book as for 2 days which are Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm is the flea market indoor which causes only Rm80 for two days. It is available for Lower Ground Floor, level 1, 2 and 3. While having the Ground floor level booth it is going to be Rm100 per day which maximum needed 3 days which are Friday. Saturday and Sunday. It is available from 10am to 10pm. As I notice that for having the booth in Ground Floor level would be very hot in the evening as there are no air-conditioner around the entrance. Besides, the shoppers will just enter in and out trough the entrance. As this will lower up the market selling for our product while it is more expensive. 

                 Encik Azman bring me to his office meeting room and hand me to his worker Mr Ridzuan. Mr Ridzuan was also a nice and friendly man. He brief me a lot about the booth and told me that do not park the car outside as it would be very expensive. 


                 Mr Ridzuan talks to me a lot on the terms and condition as we are needed to bring our own dark colour table cloth. Examples of dark red, dark blue and black. They are going to provide us one normal wood and metal table, and one chair. If we are needed for power supply it will be depends on our booth chosen as first come first serve. He gave me to see the layout plan but not apply me to took a picture on it. I told Mr Ridzuan that I will get back to him as soon as possible as need to be discuss with my group member. Finally a day is a over and was happy with the results. Was hanging over for some investigation as 3rd floor would be more people due to a lot of restaurant are located at 3rd floor.
